PROGRAM FOUNDER
Apostle Scott founded and has been leading the Circle City Christian Center, based in Indianapolis, IN
since 1991. His evangelical and pastoral work has been influencing the near eastside of Indianapolis
for 17 years. His ministry work is done on the streets and has not included a traditional setting
(building). He has focused on where the needs are located. His responsibilities and accomplishments
have included:
· Street evangelism
· Outreach ministry in homeless shelters & prisons
· Biblical teaching
· Creation of Upper Room & 4C’s Thrift Stores
· Authorof three books
· On-air radio broadcaster
· Producer of 'Discipleship Moment' for WHMB Television
· Published in various religious publications
· Various associations with a multitude of religious organizations (including sitting on various boards)
· Responsible for launching ministries and outreaches across the region through discipleship training
Born in South Bend, IN, Apostle Scott attended high school at James Whitcomb Riley, where he was elected Class President for four consecutive years. He also enjoyed a stellar basketball career that promoted him into being a top national recruit for colleges. He signed an athletic scholarship to attend The University of Arkansas. After two years of studies and playing ball for the Razorbacks, Apostle Scott sustained a knee injury and transferred back to Indiana’s Ball State University (BSU), affording him the opportunity to continue his studies as well as his athletic career. Part of Apostle Scott's education includes a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Telecommunications. His theological training includes Arkansas Theological Institute and Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis. Joshua Ministries was born in 1999 and is an intensified youth outreach endeavoring youth growth and spiritual understanding. The concept for Urban Entrepreneur America was conceived by Apostle Scott and brought to life in 2001 as an outreach from Joshua Ministries.
